Default Brookie question

For some weird reason I have been having this urge to go get a few brookies.

I have not fished for them in quite a while. I would prefer to get some of them from the waters that need some type of "help" in the form of management for our native species. Hopefully within 2 hours of Calgary.

Can anyone offer some help? I want to be clear. I am not asking for a spot. I don't need your spot. I just haven't kept in the loop about this stuff. I have been doing way more shooting than ever before for the last 6 years or so. It has taken up a very large portion of my free time and I am getting back into fly fishing on a bigger scale. I am simply looking for a stream that has too many brookies in it that need to be thinned a bit.

PM's are just fine. I thank any one for the help they may lend.

Jumpingpound, Sibbald, Cataract, willow, quirk, fish.....

cataract and fish don't hold many, if any, cuthroats, so wouldn't really benefit from some brookies taken out, but the rest do.

You need to join up with the Stewardship program, more information here: http://www.tucanada.org/index.asp?p=2167

There's a link on the page that lists all the streams that need help removing brookies as well.

Yes pull the brookies out below the falls on Cataract. There never were cutties above the falls. Any Browns or Rainbows in the Highwood can go too..
