I fished 4 days in extrememly hot weather (>30 degrees) at a couple of the more popular drainages down there. Flows are lower than normal for this time of year so I was able to walk/wade without difficulty. Because the days were so hot, I did not see many rising fish or good hatches. There were a few PMDs and stoneflies on shady banks. Fish came to the top on size 8 attractor patterns like fat alberts, chernobyl ants, etc. I used a 9' 6 wt to push the bigger flies through the wind with a 12' leader. Fishing was consistent throughout the day.
I would definately head out this weekend if you're thinking about it.
