Default Question about a 7.62x39 round

I have a 7.62 that got 2 small dents on the side of the case, is it safe to use?
If not can anyone tell me how to safely dispose of the round?
Thank you !

I wouldn't shoot it. Just grab one of the other 1400 in your crate! As for disposal a bullet puller (which you might be able to borrow) or I believe just soaking in oil for a while might work.

Others might have better suggestions.

If it chambers I would use it, it is not uncommon for semi auto guns to beat the brass up pretty good.

Shoot it!, if you are still worried, give it to someone that reloads, they may have a bullet puller and can de activate it.

Won't be any dents after you shoot.

you wouldn't believe how beat up some of the brass was we shot in Iraq. I wouldn't be worried unless the bullet was not centered.
