Default Winchester Supreme elite XP3 ammo

Looking to change up to this for next season, read some reviews and it seems hit or miss. Anyone have some experience with this ammo? I am looking to shoot it in 30-06 and .243.

I shoot 150 xp3 in my 30-06. I have NO desire at all to change. Great performance on moose and Elk, no need to change bullets for deer.
Recoverd a fully double mushroomed XP3 from an elk this year. 98% weight retension.

X2. I used to use Partitions but figured unless a bone was hit a guy may as well use FMJ. Switched to XP3 in 150 grain in my 30-06 and have been very impressed. I have shot elk, whitetail, mule deerand moose. No animal has made it more than 20 steps. All kill shots have been within 200 yards however.

I shot a bull elk with 180 gr power max bonded with my 30-06 at about 200 yards and he was dead before he hit the ground. Also just picked up a box in 150 gr for my 7 mag hope to have good results with them as well

Winchester designed the power max to be a premium grade bullet at an affordable price

I shoot 180gr out of my Remington 700 30-06 and they perform great. Excellent weight retention and accurate, I won't change anytime soon.

Couple of buddies shoot the XP3's in their 300WM - work great....great expansion and as mnetioned 98%+ weight retention.

Next choice IMO, would be the Winchester Supreme ammo in the Accubonds for your rifles.
