Default What's your favorite old sitcoms?

M*A*S*H is still my favorite, watched the series numerous times.

All in the family, Carroll O'Connor was a natural for the show.
Started watching the Married... With Children series. Fox wouldn't exist without it, and it broke all the rules.

What others?

Those you mentioned are high on my list. I also really like WKRP in Cincinnati, Taxi, and Fish..great comedy.

Also Sanford and Son, Red Fox was awesome.

Fish was one that never caught on, but I loved Abe Vigoda in that...Barney Miller was more popular for him, but I still say Fish was the better show

Home Improvement was pretty good. Newer than the others mentioned, but at least 20 years ago now.

If Abe Vigoda and Eric Estrada were in the same sitcom, would it be called Fish & C.H.I.P.S.?

Does anybody else remember “My Mother the Car”? She was a 1928 Porter, if I recall correctly.

Did someone mention “The Monkees”?

Not an old sitcom, but the only one I watch now is Silicon Valley. Great laughs from first to last or even "middle-out"!

Don't forget Frasier. We have the complete series and have watched it at least once a year.

MASH
Cheers

We don't watch the modern comedy series, which consist of one line then laugh track, one line then laugh track and on and on. They are either teens or 20 somethings just tossing one liners back and forth . The 30 somethings are usually about how smart and intelligent that the wife is and the husband is always displayed as a dumb azz. Examples: Home improvement, Everyone loves Raymond and that UPS guy, et al

While I think I enjoy just about all the sitcoms named, my own favorite is WKRP in Cincinnati.
