Default Rating the Ram

Lets hear some opinions on the Ram power snares ,
Efficiency , Danger?
any pro,s or cons .
I,ll start: IMO Coyote Ram : Good enough for fox
just passable for coyote.
Easy to set.
Medium danger
cost

Wolf Ram ,: Fine for coyote .
Room for improvement.
Not qualified for wolf.
Extreme caution . setting and retrieving
Cost

Perhaps face and temple protection while working with IE: Light goalie mask? If you wear ear plugs with electronic equipment perhaps this is not so radical

Well this was my first year using the ram not a fan of having to lugg em into the bush an back out I find some times can’t get snares to sit how I want them then the one time my crimp on ferrul must not of been good enough An once I had it all set an took my secondary safety off it pull the end loop apart An the ram opened up while I was kneeling on the sidewalk of it luckily not in the danger path but enough to make me double cheak the ol shorts after

Default WOLFMASTER for coyotes

WOLFMASTER is what I've used last 5 years on COYOTES
As they say on... Forged with Fire... "IT KILLS"

Yes, they're heavy when carried in a large group...like everything else.
Yes, they tangle when carried in a large group....like everything else.
Yes, they are expensive when you buy alot of 'em... like everything else.
Yes, they are dangerous... like everything else.

Yes, I CATCH alot of coyotes... NOT like everything else.
These WOLFMASTERS are my preferred tool, but maybe not for you.
RAM makes a smaller model for coyotes... I dont know how they rate.
