Default Lee Enfield

Quick question guys.

What is a Lee Enfield 303 worth these days? Good shape hardly used since purchased "new" 30 years ago.

Thanks in advance

There are too many variations to give a price without more details. It also depends if it is "sporterized".

I'll give you 100 bucks sight unseen......post a pic with some details of it, Cat will chime in along with some ol'fellas who's first rifle was a front stuffer!

Sorry not mine to sell. Belongs to a non-hunting friend of mine who thought he needed a goose gun and a rifle 30 years ago. He only ever went to the trap range with the 870 a couple times and the .303 a couple times in a gravel pit somewhere.
I could tell him more or less what the 870 was worth but I have no idea what those enfields are worth. Last time I looked at one they were 29.95 at Can Tire.
I have had a couple messages so at least I have an idea.

Thanks everyone.

There are so many factory variations and sportizef versions ( some excellent some terrible) out there that unless a person has done details any estimate would be nothing more than a shot in the dark.
A chopped up no.1 with a factory stock cut down, for instance would be worth $150 max . However , an unaltered no.4 Longbranch could be worth over $1,000
Depending on several different sight configurations .

Well, I traded a No.1 Mk4 in pretty good shape for a bunch of reloading equipment for my 270 and some hands on training. If I were to buy that equipment new it would be $250 or so I figure...

It was pretty much identical to this one. http://www.icollector.com/Lee-Enfiel...usty_i24400790.

I paid $100 for a sporterized 1919 in 1996 or so, still have it. Think that it could sell for $150 now from the verbal offers I've had.

New, 30 years ago?

What’s the date on the rifles wrist band, or receiver?

Betchya it ain’t marked 1988.

Or.
Do you mean you bought it back around 1988?

This thread is useless without pics.
