I did a research a few years ago trying to mount a tactical scope on my Kimber but still remain light. I went to the pages of the brand, all info are there, In The end I bought a dented 6500 and made in work on a older 700 blue wood mountain 280 rem. Was too light on Kimber.

I think it may just be the scope and not the reticle but I'm not sure. I like the G4 better too.

Their continuing with the other reticle, I guess the G4 was too practical for the consumers of today!
