Dream come true! Elk 2017
Well, after 9 years of applying for a tag, and many more years of dreaming, today that dream came true! After many hours and kms travelled hunting this last 3 weeks I was able to harvest this beautiful bull elk! They are magnificent animals and I am so very grateful to be able to have experienced this. I am so thankful to my dad and “little” brother for all the time they have spent doing prep work, scouting, driving, and walking to help make this dream of mine come true! Also thankful for Will, and my mom and everyone else who helped to watch my boys all those times so that I could do this. Thankful for our friend Rick and all his help on this hunt today. It was an amazing and humbling experience. One that we will NEVER forget! we may have shed a few grateful, happy tears!! 💙
