I have recently bought a auto boat loader. Now I want to install sliding mounts so I can remove the seats when The boat is on the boat loader.
What are people using? I look on line and can't find anything I like.
Any suggestions?

I'm not looking for the seats. I'm looking for the rail system to slide them. I also need to remove them before loading onto my truck.

Default clamp style

I,ve been using the clamp style on my cartopper now for years. a little bulky and a little longer to install uninstall( quicker when you've done it a few times). very stable if initially installed well. about 40-45 bucks per clamp. I've had mine for 12 years now.

Some good info here: http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=251903

Unfortunately the pics aren't there anymore, iirc he went with the threaded kingpin seat mounts and bases like those shown here:http://www.correllconcepts.com/boat_conversion.htm

Get bases and slides made entirely out of metal, plastic parts will just weather, crack and eventually break with the stress.

I used a swivel base like these:

With similar quick disconnect mounts:

I found online the slider g5. Very expensive but that is along the line that I'm looking for. They are made and sold in the USA.
