Default Skimmer holes wore through

Trapping in southern Alberta chinook winds create bare spots on some of the trails an it wreaks havoc on the bottom of my skimmers. Wondering if anyone has a good fix to repair. I have tried fibreglass an a bunch of other stuff but the cold an flexing no fix lasts very long. I usually just get a new one. I have Nepream runners on the last few years but holes get wore though still. Thanks Rod

Try the Alaska sled works sigland skimmer. There are home made models that are cheaper but that UHMW last a long time if you keep it out of the sun and is super tough.Mine has 20,000 km on it still working great.

Maybe puck board for a fix. Works well on my jet boat.

I use puck board strips bolted on my sled. It wears quite well when you try to avoid lots of gravel/dirt. Need to replace every 3-4 years.
