she was 10 cm longer than the measuring board  I do 10inch figure 8 s when Im hog fishing since I coud barely get my PB though a single ten incher. shes also the main reason my auger gets put away soon as my holes are done. poodle munchers prefer quiet to rock and roll

Wow,nice. I think her head looks small compared to her body, or does she just have one healthy fat body? Even her tail compared to body size seems a bit short. She must be one very smart girl and has the food chain working for her very well. I also wonder if the spread of crayfish and prussian carp in AB are helping pike sizes-or if the cessation of commercial fisheries (lake whites) are also making mega saurus pike like that one a possibility. That and the c & r rules. Wayne you are the master pike specialist !

You could be right, but I had a pike on, at a lake west of there, that I had to the top of the hole many times but didn’t get a chance to drill more holes to get it out. I would have bet my house that fish was a record for Alberta. Lots of big pike in these reservoirs down south not just that one.
