Default Snaring rabbit help

Looking for some advice as I’m new to snaring rabbits. If a predator has picked at one leg, is the entire thing shot for tablefare? I’ve had ravens get them and I wouldn’t touch them but if a leg has been picked at by a predator?

Just cut it off and cook as normal!
In this weather I tend to set snares just before sundown and try to check them right at sun up .
