Post coyote hunting advice

I'm looking to go on a good yote hunt before the main seasons get going (as practice) so Im looking for any advice on coyote hunting that anyone has to offer. Best times of day, gear and location. Im currentally living in high river and have acsess to any where from leftbridge to calgary.

As for my rifle im useing a 7.62x39 with ironsights and am able to hit target at up to 100 yards and improving anything with in 50 is gone though. If anyone has any big game advice im all ears.

James I'll try and help. I would try and find an elevated spot that you can see from that has enough cover to hide your outline. Use any predator call you have and watch for the coyotes coming around to get down wind of you. Coyotes like being around cattle, sloughs and most anywhere. The very best way to get them is to go and try andlearn from anything that happens. Movement on your part is what will give you away most of the times so stay still and you should have a great time.
