I load my 3006 with both, AB 165 grain and 168 grain TTSX. Both are great. I use my TTSX for moose and AB for deer. I'm lucky where they have the same POI in my savage. The ABs do make a bigger exit hole. Cant go wrong with either. However, I do like the fact of being lead free with the Barnes.

I load 80gr TTSX in my 25-06 AI at 3875fps. It’s a great killer and I haven’t recovered any bullets from the 5 one shot kills my daughter and buddy and myself have made with the rifle. 180yds to 380yds. Mule deer, whitetail deer, and antelope. Very little meat damage. All lung shots. Animals went straight down to 50yds and down. Will continue using this combo.

Gotta luv those light for cal. Barnes bullets. My nephew nailed a Moose the other day with a .270 WSM 110 gr TTSX at 330 yds. MV 3330. Perfect lung shot. No pass thru.
Just have to be sure to put the Bullet exactly where it counts.
