Don't look now, but Draisaitl is now on pace for 97 points.

That backhand pass was surreal.

I bet you boys are glad there wasn't another 5 minutes left in that game, Colorado was coming on strong, just left it to late. Good win.

Koskinen looked good, really good. The last 4 minutes had shades of the Ducks nightmare 2 years ago.

If I am Chia (thank God I am not), Koskinen plays against the Jets and Talbot plays against the Flyers. If we get 2 in the win column I think Chia should be shopping Talbot for a D-man. Carolina would be the best bet as they need goaltending and they are d-core heavy. Coyotes might have something to offer as well. Koskinen is on 1 year deal and Talbot is an RFA next summer, don't want to be signing both at over 5 million to term.

Great game.

That is a mystery to me as well. At least the second star after Nuge.

Avs really did play a good game, had a wide margin on shots and lots of those were high quality chances. Koskinen stoned them. Was a good win for Oil, they obviously played a good game to put up the 6 goals, but switch goaltenders and that's a 6-2 win for the Avs. Fun to watch, that Drai pass was flippin' telepathic.

And Bessie, standing bets on the last two BOA games. Done. But let's start donating the cash to a charity of choice, I'm worried about your liver.

We’ve got a ton of young defensive talent to jump up and fill the spot.

In my humble opinion...

The two key components for a team to make the playoffs are a goaltender stealing games you have no business winning and an effective fourth line.

We witnessed that in spades tonight.

With Kleff's injury (and Russell getting banged up) we will likely see Talbot play the next game in Winnipeg, in hopes of a good performance to move him for a quality replacement D-man.

Final thought: These lumps gotta start winning faceoffs. They've been brutal of late....

Yeah, not a great night on face-offs. I thought Koskinen looked tired starting at about half way through the game. A few times, he'd cover the puck and just stay down for a few extra seconds. Altitude? He still played great though and also can't see why he wasn't named a star.

Broziak and Driasaitl are over 50%. Nuge really needs to get better especially in the defensive role he is often put in

Did anybody else think the fan that broke the glass looked a lot like Conner Mcgregor?

He probably thinks he looks like Connor McGregor, that's the whole point.

No Russell either. He's out a couple of days with an injury. Reider and Caggiula back in. It's gonna be a big test.

I heard Caleb Jones got his sticks but no skates. Better send Chia down to the local Canadian tire, and get the boy a pair of skates.
