I'd say if the Canadian F Class team shoots them, I'm guessing they will work just fine for you

I have one installed by KS. It's the most accurate rifle in my collection of 20ish centre fire rifles.

Those fellas would not be shooting barrels they thought put them at any competitive disadvantage, free or not.

We need to buy Canadian made any chance we get!

Another vote for KS. In all the years I have only heard one guy complain about KS, everyone else ranges from happy to a raving fan. Good prices, quality work and fast turn around, what more can a guy ask for. I agreed with SNS2, buy Canadian and keep our own supply chain healthy. We are definitely at the back of the line for stuff from the States, as recent shortages prove once again.

I know 5 or 6 people up here at our club shooting full KS built rifles, and a couple shooting Karl's barrels, and every one of them is supper stoked with them.
One of them is a doctor from SA, and he has several rifles, one is in one of the big 338 magnums, and is getting excellent groups at 200 meters.

Karl's stuff is top notch. I have one of his 3 lug actions. I've actually shot with Karl. He's also a very funny guy.

So close to the Tikka

I haven't had a barrel from Karl, but he does excellent work and has done a couple rifles up for me, albeit some time ago.

I have 2 semi customs done by them, one a 270 wby on a 700 action, the other a 264 on a sako A7 action. Nothing but great things to say about mike and Karl and their work!

All my rifles wear KS barrels, top notch customer service and barrels. They are incredibly accurate barrels.

Default Experience with K S arms barrels

I have 1 semi custom. A Sako 85 with a 24 inch barrel chambered in 1:8 twist 6.5cm. K&S was great to deal with, and price was very reasonable. Very pleased overall.

Does anyone else find their KS barrel fast?

Yes. I’m getting 3505fps out of the 257 wby with a 110 accubond 1-1/2 gr below max load.

Does anyone have a close up photo of one of their sporter contours?

Is his son still working there as well? Hopefully someone is set to take over when Karl retires. Had the pleasure of working with his kid and hanging out with Karl in Pete McMahon's camp many yeara ago.
