Lol, only a half an inch? The one I checked out was closer to 3/4" than 1/2".

got a viper nano this summer.

Pros: high quality fit and finish, smooth draw, quiet, with stabilizer-no hand shock. draw stop has infinite adjustment, solid back wall, not jumpy once setup properly. highly recommend string leeches. mine has been relatively easy to tune.

Cons: Somewhat heavier than most other bows, owing to the riser design. i just use a shorter/lighter stabilizer. metal grip is cold.

FYI very narrow grip, imo it helps eliminate hand torque, but takes a little getting used to.

very happy and would buy another.

APA bows are outstanding do less warrenty work on them than any other brand out there...great company to work with...

The longer draw is not a huge issue...some of the leader bow manufacturers are the same way...what they call their true draw measurements...

which Viper is it?
