i found whitetail skeleton with attached spine almost identical to the one you found in WMU116 last summer. cat kill for sure. coyotes as a rule do rip everything apart and drag it allover.

And wolves will eat almost all the bones and disperse whats left of them all over, often even carry them off. Cougar kill for sure, I am told often you can see where the vertebrae close to the back o the skull are fractured.

First is a match to one I found about 6 weeks ago. Second is from the same deer but last year. 25-30 yards apart.

There’s a match set in the third pic. Saw that buck packing while calling coyotes and the sheds were within 150 yards of where I saw him.

Dog had his head up his arse today. Maybe he poked his mouth yesterday or something. Just the one dead head for him.

Think my season as about over, about 150km walked and a couple more spots to check but here’s a quick recap. About 38-40 sheds in total which makes my best year.

Default Finds from the last couple weeks!

My 7.5 month preggo fiancé found a cranker of a set, double drop tine buck! Hard to stop that woman! Also, My first decent moose sheds also! The dog loves to hike, but hasn’t found her own sheds quite yet.

Nice set of antlers. I think your upcoming child will be an even better second generation antler picker in 5 or so years.
Save a cape from a deer this fall and do a shoulder mount with the drop tine drops... to hang over the crib in the babies room.
