Default Coyote hunting in archery season

Just a quick question for anyone who might know the answer. Been seeing a few coyotes on my drives to go archery hunting, but only have my bow. Just wondering if there is any rules against carrying a rifle during archery season just for coyotes. I can't seem to find anything that says yes or no anywhere on the internet. Looked through my synopsis cover to cover a few times now and no solid answer other than Alberta residents may harvest coyotes anytime throughout the year.
I DO know in sask that you aren't allowed to carry anything larger than a .22 calibre during archery season, not sure if same applies to Alberta though.

Should be good down there, as long as there isn't any areas where firearms are prohibited.

Coyote – A Resident, Non-resident or Non-resident Alien who holds a Non-resident/Non-resident Alien Wolf/Coyote licence may, except in WMUs 728 and 730, hunt (but not trap) coyote

a) throughout the year on privately owned land and on public land in the White Area, to which he or she has the right of access to hunt;

b) on public lands in the Green Area to which he or she has the right of
access to hunt, from the opening day of a big game season in a particular WMU to May 31, 2018 or until June 15 if the hunting is in a WMU that has a spring season for black bear ending on that date.

I believe if there is not a firearms ban and a big game season is open you are good to go.

Dont know of any public land in southern alberta along the saskatchewan border so permission is the key. There is really no closed season for coyotes on private land if you have permission. Even grazing leases have rules.
