I used to find that Wipeout did such as good job cleaning my 1881 Remington 700 ADL .270 that I had to fire as many as 89 shots (three 3 shot groupings) before the groups tightened right up again to sub MOA. I guess she liked being a dirty girl for her to perform at her best.

Yep, it is pretty good stuff. I was impressed how much it got out of one of my rifles after it was already cleaned using Hoppe's No 9 and Hoppe's oil. It and G96 for wiping down the exterior of my rifles and lubing bolt carriers are pretty much all I use now. I'm going to give the 'patchout?' stuff a try next time as I find its hard to clean the foaming stuff off of flash hiders etc on a semi-autos. After cleaning it a few times with Wipeout, its pretty much one treatment and done.

A note though - it is pretty caustic stuff, as one poster said it marked up his countertops pretty good and I find it is more irritating to the skin than most CLP products so I'd recommend nitrile gloves. For what they cost, I use them pretty much routinely anyway.

North pro sports in Saskatoon carries it too. And a lot cheaper than Amazon.

Never mind, just checked and looks like they are out. Maybe waiting on a shipment, but they do carry it. Think it was 20$ plus shipping.

I seen a few comments on line that sort of reflected the same results

wipe out is s decent product , First Choice is made locally , will do the same job and is easy to get , use Eezox or lock ease on a patch to lube the bore when your done, I prefer the eezox but again , both will work , if your first shot does not go where it's supposed to your bore could be to wet, a dry patch behind the eezox should fix it, if it takes a bunch of shots for the barrel to settle down after cleaning you may not be feeding it what it likes,
