Default New Track to Identify

I watched the last thread on identifying tracks develop without making a comment or getting involved.
I was suprised at the differing opinions. I was also suprised at the number of bashing comments. Especially from those who I dont think identified the correct animal that made the track.
Identifying tracks is important. See if we can get this one. I chose it because it's VERY similar to the last track.

With my limited knowledge, I will say feline (large) in the center, a smaller elk on the left, and I am hoping Sorel size 10, on the right, because that's what I am comparing the size of the tracks too. Just my opinion, I may be wrong.

Mike,

On the website you pulled the photo from, does it say what track it is? Killed after a chase?

Bushmaster, thanks for teaching me how to get rid of the thumb, learned something new today.

Longdraw, the site I pulled the thumb from, confirmed it is a Cougar track. It did not say whether the cat was killed.

Lynx? Oh, I see that you said it was a cougar. Unfortunately, I've never seen a track that clear to identify as a cougar.
