Default Congrats the the Winnipeg Blue Bombers

And of coarse their LONG suffering fans, after waiting for 29 years to ring that bell it must be a monkey off their backs.

Congrats to them and their fans, the class of the CFL in 2019

They sure kicked some Ti-cat ass. Right from the first play to the end. Ate them raw!

I’ve been a Winnipeg fan since I was pretty little.. my parents used to take in bombers to stay at our place and back then I was a little boy who marveled at watching our guys on tv..
Now the real purpose of this post... if I was a betting man which I am... I would have picked Hamilton by a landslide.. imagine my surprise, and empty wallet now!

I picked Winnipeg. The way O’Shea had his guys playing in the playoffs, using both QB’s Andrew Harris Adam Bighill Jefferson etc. They were more ready then any team in the playoffs this year!

I had a feeling the Bombers were gonna pull it off, they have been quietly firing on all cylinders for a while now. They didn't just beat the Tie-Cats, they beat em up!

I have family in Steel Town and have had to listen to how great they were all season. Told them to look at the east, there is ONE good team in it, had they played in the west their record would be A LOT different. Regular season dosent mean much, it's what you do in the playoffs.

I left the Peg 6 years before their last Grey Cup win. I have no words to how I feel after that wait. Last time I was this excited for a game was 1984 when Tom Clements and Dieter Brock Faced off in the Grey Cup after the 1983 trade. And Clements won for the Bombers. I wept for Dieter.
The Birmingham Rifle.

I was at a Winnipeg game way back when Dieter (Ralph) Brock was playing for them.. he came out in warm ups before the game.. he placed 5 guys on the goal line way across the field from where he was standing on the other goal line.. 3 pumps then he let go a throw that made it the field length and the 5 guys caught them.. true stuff.. that guys arm was a cannon at the very least.. the guys used to hate when he called for the run and turn 10 yards out and then turn to the middle only to be hit hard in the chest from a football from the cannon..they said it hurt, pads and all and it still hurt.. great arm that guy!

I agree. Winnipeg didn’t play a better game all season, I don’t recall Hamilton playing that poorly all season either.

I'm glad the Bombers won, last thing you separatists needed was another excuse to separate.....an Eastern team winning would have inflamed your cause.....:scared0018 :

This guy got to watch the game live with his old man, and made a penny on the 2.55 Bombers Moneyline
