Default .new photo site

postimages.org
Easy site to use for showing your pictures on A/ O
Just sent them my Email address and they sent me a pass word.
Down loaded a picture.
Then under picture it showed around 6 options.
I clicked on . Thumbnail for fourms
Then I just right clicked ,copy and then post below .

Just click on my picture
Once it goes bigger ,on the right top corner ,click on sign up .
And set up a free account

Looks like you only copied part of the string. The tags on a forum are like HTML for a web page. When you click on the add an image on the forum it does the same thing as PostImg does, it adds this around the URL:

[IMG][/IMG]

Your URL just goes in between the two tags. The tags just tell the AO site there is an image here and to display the URL in between the tags:

^^ As an example. If there is any other text, like PostImg adds, it is just fluff that is not needed.

So if you go back to PostImg, click on share, and just copy the "Direct Link" that is the URL you need. In the pic I'm sharing it is:

https://s25.postimg.org/p91gtcsmn/IMG_0330.jpg

Then cut and paste that in between the two tags above or just type the [IMG] [/IMG] around it like so

The important part being that it must start with .

click on my picture again .

On the top left it says share. Click on that !

picture appears again .

But now it has like 8 links above the picture or below the picture.

Beside the link Thumbnail for fourms ,there is a punch of numbers .
Its the numbers that you copy and post to A/O.

I use postimage for a few years now without any issues. Good service for free.
And you can upload an album no problem.

I have always been curious when I try to post pics in the AO site why some times the pic will not download or will be sideways once posted and for sure only one pic at a time. Have thought it’s always due to posting from my iPhone
