Default Muskrat colony traps

Haven't used them. Curious if those that do always set in runs or if they ever use bait? Wondering about the best ways to use them around farm yard dougouts, etc.

look for their runs going into the banks, can be distinguished by muddy water in line coming from bank edge outward,if you still have little skim ice happening the bubbles will give location away, put end up against hole in bank, set it and forget it,if you set in morning you can check in evening and pick up your bounty, happy trapping Peter
