Ohio Buckeye. More likely to grow in this zone than Horse Chestnut.

I thought Ohio Buckeye had a compound leaf as the leaves in the photo appear to be.

I've seen Horse Chestnut in Edmonton but I don't believe I've ever seen Ohio Buckeye, although I may have on a trip through the southern states.

Looks like a buckeye to me.
You'd have to count leaflets to be sure. 5 on a buckeye, 7 on a horse chestnut. A better pic of the lesves would help. Either way, very poisonous.

Horse chestnut contains significant amounts of a poison called esculin and can cause death if eaten raw. ... Horse chestnut seed is used for diarrhea, fever, and enlarged prostate.
