Default In search of grayling and athabasca rainbow

I've never caught or fished for either and figurered i should give it a go. My plan is to head north on the trunk road from the 16 and fish the rivers and streams i come across and maybe veture toward fox creek area as well.

Heading out this week/weekend for 3-4 days. Any one have any updates on the fishing/water conditions in the area? I've never been up that way but I'm assuming i can random camp along or just off the trunk road.

Any advice or directions to decent fishing/camping spots would be appreciated.

I also have a very short memory if you would like to share more specifics via pm or email.

thanks

If your up here in Hinton I can be of help .. you can head out from town up the Willow creek road and hit the Wild Hay River in a few spots that holds both km 56 to 58 on the Jack Wright road off the Willow at 45km .. or the Old Man creek has some real nice color Athabasca Rainbows(C&R only) and some healthy Grayling again up the Willow and take the Marsh creek road

Its not quite the area you listed, but the past couple weekends Ive spent out at Embarrass River south of Edson, and have had great luck with both Bows and Grayling there.
