Default LOST FLY ROD. Southland dog park on the Bow River

Last night I lost my z-axis fly rod. It's green 490-B with a gold coloured reel seat. Black TFO reel. It went in the drink where the Southland dog channel meets the main bow river. It's a custom rod that was a gift, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me.

I am offering a 100$ reward if found.

I'm at the dog park fairly often, if I see anything I'll let you know.

Might be worth it to post a flyer at the dog park on the board as well.

Is it a clean bottom there? I've picked up a few rods by trolling a deep diving lure that drags along the bottom behind my kayak. You might be able to do similar from the bank.

The bottom isn't bad. We dredged the bottom with weights and treble hooks as well yesterday

Might be floating by the area tomorrow. Will try to keep an eye out for it. You should let the fly shops, larger box stores (corkboards) and shuttle companies know along with your contact information.

I usually fish that section from time to time as well since it's close to home. I'll keep my eyes peeled and hopefully you end up with it in the near future.

Email Sage the serial #, if they ever have it returned for warranty they'll get it back to you.

It was a blank, that was custom made-no serial # as far as I know. The good news is the good folks at Sage are sending me a new blank for the cost of warranty replacements. How cool is that!!

Class act.

I bought my first sage last year... best decision I have EVER made in fishing... other than quitting that weird spinning method.
