Anyone hunt with the Norma soft point .308 win?

shoots real good out of my tikka and wanted to know if anyone has hunted with this ammo

This is the bullet Weatherby used for years, until recently, in their 'select' line. They just recently switched to Hornady as they are loading in the USA.

Perhaps they will do better with the more modest speeds of a 308, but in my 300wby they absolutely exploded at ranges between 100 and 250 yards. Shot 2 elk at those ranges and without hitting heavy bone, I had multiple exit holes.
Yet less than 100 yards they seemed to offer very little for expansion and knock down power.
One of the most perplexing performers I've ever shot.
Glad to be done with factory loads and back to loading my accubonds.
