Yeah, it's a great system, that's for sure. The trick is to not wait for the last day or you can expect a bit of a wait. Even then it goes fairly quickly. I'm fortunate that I live close enough to bring my fur in batches as opposed to waiting and bringing it all in at once. Usually in and out in half an hour.

I stopped in on my way by Thursday and heard they shipped 79 boxes and had 39 or 40 ready to go. I heard GG the muskrat master from Drayton is going in today and Reuben too, great folks to visit with. The wife and I are helping out Monday and Tuesday.

Dugh, I know lots of coyote and they fill the boxes fast. How are the marten numbers looking, Gordy wrote excellent article in AO on how many trappers concerned on low marten catch this year.

Big Grey, we are there Monday and Tuesday. Anyone I have talked to about marten this year has said very slow for squirrel, weasel and marten.

There are some fine animals on that table. Gotta like those dark clears.... they are exceptional. You could be in for a top lot on that bunch. They look different in the different light compared to outside or wherever your other pictures are from. Come back on this thread in May and let us know how they graded.

That central AB fur keeps surprising me in my old age. I used to think they were all brown and ugly up there.

Different depots have different last receiving dates. Call the depot you are wanting to use.

The "categories" are two different fur auctions, NAFA and FHA.
