Default Fraser River BC Sturgeon Fishing

Anyone going to be in the Vancouver/Chilliwack area April 21, 22? I'm out there for a course and will be solo. I'm looking to get out Sturgeon fishing on the Fraser but don't want to the whole bill for the boat/ guide. Looks like $600/2 anglers for the day. Looking to split the boat. Let me know if you're interested or know someone?

I would suggest you find an Charter operator who uses C.J. Mussels he is an excellent guide . And many of the guides work for more than one operation. We booked C.J through Cascade Fishing Charters.

I've always been interested trying sturgeon fishing, but don't know a lot about it...is one time of year better than others?

Spring in April can be good for numbers but they are also prone to rain and cool weather so trip success can be hit or miss. Fall around September especially on odd years(pink salmon run) can be good for numbers and for size. You can catch fish all year long though so it really just comes down to when you can make it out.
