Edit: I've got a waterproof Canon powershot D10, and it takes great pics in and out of the water highly recommend one

Thanx for the link .. I already use a self timer and cheap tripod , but the creative angles is something new I'm gonna explore .

I love my waterproof and this summer I'm looking forward to use my GoPro.
This is how I like to rock the odd pic on my own.

I use an Olympus TG-1 iHS. Takes great pics in most any light conditions and has a ton of features. I still need to buy a PFD for it though.

Well even with the girly arm its a heckuva nice picture, beats hell outta bull trout beatin' themselves to death

This friggin' board has 4 or 5 page thread expressing outrage because some idiot rode a wounded critter down a hill but mention something about a protected and endangered species flopping around on the rocks and that someone gets threatened with a banning?
Sorry Hoss, it's all about respecting the resource no matter if it is slimy and weighs half a kilo or if it's 400 kilos of fur covered hamburger.
