Wabamun Fishing

Hello heading to Wabamun for a week at provincial Park.Looking to fill some walleye tags and have never fished there.Any ideas or advice where one should go and what works better trolling or anchor ?Heard boat launch very good this true?

Launch is good but usually very busy. Walleye are everywhere , I have had the most luck trolling with rattle trap type lures

Way quieter during the week I won’t fish Wab on the weekends

I don’t target walleye but catch them casting swimbaits, jerk baits, crankbaits and spinner’s for pike. They are not hard to find

Million class C out there, find a shelf/drop, jig away, biting at all depths.
Heat has been hard on the lake and weeds aplenty, keep an eye out.
