Default Harper the Last, Lonely Champion of Asbestos

Harper is such a stubborn "Blockhead". He will do almost anything to get power in Quebec..
This makes about as much sense as Anne Coulter's comments after the Fukashima meltdowns that "radiation is good for you".
I personally think that Harper is so narrowly focused on obtaining power in Quebec that he will do and say anything to justify his ideologies and lust for power and control.
We have some pretty solid countries that support Harper's position.
Canadians will now be freely welcomed to have winter vacations in Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Steve is just another Stan now.
What an international embarassment.

Chuck Strahl was no whining goof like you.
Since when did India require oil exports from Canada? What the hell does a vegan or a tree hugger have to do with a dangerous and carcinogenic material?
Been eatin' too many contaminated fish from Chesterslough lately by any chance?

It is safe if handled properly

Problem is, in those countries, guys are shoveling it in bare feet

They are the ignorant ones, not us

Quebec produces this legitimate product

Perhaps these other countries could hire us to show them how to handle it

More money

I don't like breathing in the stuff.

That's the extent of my knowledge.

Rather than just go based upon a one sided argument...this is a great read. It includes both blunt questions and well thought out responses.

IMHO...asbestos as a product can be used responsibly in some applications and irresponsibly in other applications. It is a unique product with unique characteristics. Even the US imports some. All countries have access to the information and should be free to buy what they want. There is a ton of anger and bitterness about this natural occurring rock...I would like to see more third world effort focused on things such as self sustaining water, better health care, less drugs and weapons etc.

Thailand report on Asbestos usage...

Sun

P.S.
I actually found a fairly large rock composed mostly of serpentine but with small cracks filled with Asbestos. There is naturally occurring asbestos in rocks along the Coquhalla Freeway...west side.

Pretty cool to look at under a microscope.
