Default Changing from suv/to truck tires on a 2003 toyota tundra

Just wondering if anyone has an older toyota tundra that they have put full size truck tires on. just wondering if there were any issues with the changeover.

The tires on it now are 265x70r16 and they are only rated to hold 40psi. Found some tires at costco the same size that were regular truck tires. But the guy said that they wouldn't put those tires on as the rims wouldn't take it.

Default ahhh what????

First question does costco sell rims? (I would guess by his attempt) But now thats out of the way the real questions are this? What year is your truck and does it have the factory rim on it? Also what is the load range on the tires you are looking at buying and are you putting on the heavier tires to increase your payload or just looks and off road grip?

Do not go by the guys at Costco. I went in there and walked out when the guy tried to tell me they would only put the size and load range on as was on the orginal tire. I told him I was buying the tires and could put the size and load range I wanted on. Find a tire shop that knows what they are talking about.
