Default Need a modify a boat cover. Help?

I have a 14 fibreglass boat with an old 80 hp merc on the back and a windshield. I need a cover for it but bogged issue I'm facing is the fact that is has a pivoting seat at the front ahead of the windshield and is it near impossible to remove and If I did... I may never get it back on.

Looking for possible solutions.

Should I just get a regular 14' with windshield cover and cut a slit through it?

Also what brand/type of cover do you recommend? Maybe one suitable for highway travel.

Why such an issue with the front seat?

Boat covers are expensive and I wouldn't waste one by cutting holes in it. I would replace/repair the mounting equipment on the front chair so it can be stowed when you want the tarp in place.

I agree a quick release system will be a lot cheaper in the long run

Well do you guys recommend any brand of cover or where to get it? I'd rather not spend the top of the top dollar but I understand one can get what they pay for.

I bought a "generic" boat cover at Princess Auto for $100 (I think) for my Lund SSV with a steering wheel. I was worried about it rubbing through, so I toss a $10 "carpet" over the steering assembly and it works like a charm. It's hard to tell if it would work for you without seeing a picture, but for that price, it's worth a try.
