This fish was caught last summer August I think, I was told from Lake Newell while fishing for walleye couple of Good Ol Newfie Boys. Weight started at 63 pounds, now 50, nother couple months should get to right weight 34 pounds.

Yup, but during engagement they'd wear them on the left hand. The rings switch hands at the wedding. Not entirely sure that it's still practiced this way...

really is a monster. pity he didn't put it back. not saying he did wrong to keep it but it would be exciting to know it was still in the water somewhere.

Uhm, ok but why are there ice crystals on it? or do newfies go fishing with snocone machines?

Why is there a hole in the fishes head?

I guess... Lately I have been getting some 12-13"... If I had LKTR out my back door like you do I would probably stick around too.

that must be one helluva cooler, how much beer did they bring and how did they stretch out the fish to be so limber again? how did they know to bring such a big cooler? wouldn't have the fish of that size melted the ice chippens? why are there still chippens on the fish? i mean august isn't exactly the chilliest month out on the prairies.

why did they use a gaff? i mean if they knew to bring such a big cooler, wouldn't they have brought an equally large net?

looks like they rolled it in cocaine to calm it down for a pic. must have been caught in newell for sure then!

wow. figured it was an alta fish from the background appliances and closet doors.

course i have to put out the obligatory "wish it was still out there so we all had a chance to catch it" followed by wish it was me.

I'd bet NA, blue jeans and a carhartt coat. No way a euro goes fishing dressed like that!!
