Default custom stocks win model 70 fwt

I was just wondering who makes high grade stocks for win model 70's. I am curious what a custom stock for my featherweight would cost and what it would look like.

I figured someone must know of a good company that makes nice stocks.

Default wood

I was looking for pretty much an exact duplicate of the fwt stock...just in a higher grade wood.

Found Richards micro fit site and it looks pretty good...but no fwt duplicates it appears.

Thanks

Bob @ Custom Gunworx has a stock duplicator, nice wood is only a function of the depth of your pockets.
Drop him a line

Can't help you with wood, not my style. I buy stocks to get rid of the wood one LOL!

Ruga, if you find a good place, let me know. I'm going to get a second opinion on this, but I think I need to shorten the LOP on my M70, but I don't want to go grinding down its, er... 'stock' stock. I'm with you: I like wood as well. I don't think I need to go with higher-grade wood because the existing stock is already pretty nice, but I don't want a xheap-looking stock, either...

If you want highly figured quality tight grained wood, properly seasoned with good grain structure laid out correctly you will be looking at anywhere from $500 - $2000+ for a stock blank. Add duplicating or shaping, inletting, pillars, glass bedding, stock attachments, maybe you want a skeleton pistol grip cap and buttplate, forend tip, fancy checkering, finishing etc....skys the limit!
