Thanks for your reply. You're asking questions above my pay grade, it's probably a mix of provincial culture and history that determines these things, like every province.
But I don't think Quebeckers who care about the subject are laying over and taking it, as much as anyone anywhere is. The trend of firearms ownership isn't going in the right direction for firearms advocates in any province, Alberta included, how to change that direction is a topic worth discussing in some thread for sure.
