If I'm buying 500.00

If selling 1200.00 may not be too high.

Default condition is everything

If it is a Mark V? have seen them go for 1200 to $2500.
Think the big numbered ones were made in Germany but had a Sako action

Blue book be $2000 + easy if it's mint.

We're some of the early ones made with colt-sauer actions?

You would be well served to do some detailed research on the gun. If it is a run of the mill German Bee in mint shape, 1500-2000 is about right. If however it is a higher grade version, engraved, a custom shop piece made for someone famous, a piece made in a specific period and is pristine then the value can easily be ten to twenty times that, especially selling it into the States where there are a ton of Weatherby collectors. It is very easy to have Borderview export the gun if you find a U.S. buyer for it or to sell it to a U.S. gun store.

Take Deans advice ....

Is it a 3 digit gun? meaning 3 larger numbers followed by smaller text behind it? can you find out - the serial number would provide important information like year of manufacture - all early (1959-60) German guns will begin with a 20,000 when they went into "pre-patent production".

There are also "a handful" of very valuable crown/high grades that can fetch astronomical money and a "less than a box mint gun" could be worth a small fortune.

This one is $7000 USD and not in fantastic condition.
