Anyone bought and shot one of these inexpensive merkel rifles?
I can't find much in the way of a review.

Hear there were made same as the new sauers. Also, Merkel was forced to liquidate as Remington didn't want them using the R15 name.

I got one in 7mm Rem. When I get a scope mounted I'll sight it in and post my results. I hope it's a shooter.

^ Did you ever get it done? Or anyone else?

Looking for some reviews but can’t find much, except that there is quite a bit of plastic involved and recoil in 30-06 is quite noticeable, more so than on most other rifles.
