Talking Drayton Valley 3D Shoot July 12 & 13th

Anyone going to the shoot this weekend? The courses are always great fun and challenging. Should be one of the largest shoots this year.

Where: Brazeau Bowbenders Archery Range

turn North off HWY 22 approx. 1.5km off pavement down at the bottom of the hill
you will see an ARC Resources lease road and large clearing (east side of Range Road)
Primitive camping available, lots of room
The two closest campgrounds are Willey West and Kay-Son Campground
This an ABA Sanctioned shoot, but all shooters are welcome!
Early Registration Friday evening from 7 - 9 pm.
Saturday Registration begins at 8:30 am
Shoot to begin at 10:00 am

I bought a brand new PSE Durango about 8~9 years ago and then hung it up for some reason. Today I took the bow down and went to the range to check my set up and it shot like a dream.

Not to insult anyone...but way back when I was a bit of a 3-D weiner, I used to think those guys in Dreadful Valley put on the best darn shoot in the province.

I may have to show up and make some sacrifices to the arrow gods and stink the place out with my poor marksmanship.
