Default Opinions Needed

I'm planning to buy a Tikka T3 lite (stainless synthetic) this week sometime, but I can't decide if I want to throw on a silver or matte black scope. The gun has stainless bolt and barrel, and the trigger also. The mag. is black and so is the trigger guard so I thought maybe the matte black scope, rings, and bases would look good, but I also think the silver scope would go better with the stainless parts. I need to choose so i can call Leupold and place my order...opinions please

Matte black.....

Silver just makes me go 'ewwwwwww'

The odd silver scope works on a rifle...but for the most part matte black looks better IMO and can be swapped around easier on other guns in the future.....

Gotta go with Rack on this one, Im lookn at T3 ultralite blued black synthetic blk matte scope...I always wondered the logic behind wearn camo and scent blocker whilst shootn a stainless rifle and scope which reflects light like no ones business.

Ok I think my thoughts were right....I thought silver was way too flashy. i think I'll go the matte black route. Any more thoughts from other people out there???

I think I will, it will also go good with the black Tikka sling and bipod. My "lite" gun is going to weigh a tonne by the time I'm done with it.

Who cares? Isnt it more important to pick out a scope according to function and quality? Do you think the animal your shooting is going to stand around for a second longer looking at your gun because it looks cool? Other than than, go black. It does look better!

If I was you I'd just buy that one that chuck has for sale on the Buy/Sell.....with the Elevation Turret you are off to the races for having a hell of a scope that you can have some fun with!
