I'm not happy with the sale results for coyotes on the march sale. my average was 23.28 per pelt then take away 1$ per pelt minus 11% is anthor 2$ so the bottom lines is I got 20$ a Pelt not good not good

And where was the impression given that coyote prices, especially, were going to be any different. From the info I gathered, the overstocking, etc., this was the way it was going to be. Northern dogs generally rate a bit less. Next time, find a bud around the Calgary area and have him put them in the sale for you. This used to work for those selling martin off the west coast, they would have someone from the interior sell them and get extra $ becuz of the area they were supposedly taken in. At $20, you prob. did as good as anyone. .
In the little world of the trapper, maybe next year....

2 of the 4 lynx that did not sell last year sold this sale for a $78 average. I'm happy to just sell them but I worry for the 4 cats I shipped for the May sale.

I can't say that I am unhappy with the coyotes as I averaged $36.00 for the dozen I sent in, especially since I got $20.00 for one that sold private a month ago

What did they average in the sale?

Your gramp -paw must be gone for a long time , i suspect.
