Default Few pics from last week.

With my usual fishing holes closed I decided to try doing an overnight ski doo in trip at a remote trout lake last week. Nobody wanted to come with so it was a solo trip. The flood water was bad and the fishing was slow, but late evening I caught a decent rainbow. I fried it up on the back of the ski doo and drank a pot of tea while I watched my lines and just enjoyed that big lonely boreal silence as the sun set. I slept like a baby on a cot in the ice tent, and woke up the next morning to the bell on my fishing rod jingling. Unfortunately I didn't quite get breakfast up the hole and had to settle for oatmeal, great trip!

Sweet,
Hard to believe that you can still do that this late in April!
