I find the Rhino usually does best on the first pass in the deep snow. On the second pass, if the snow hasn't stiffened it sinks down deeper and starts to hang up more.

I've got agressive tires on mine and it will do fairly well out ice fishing in the deep snow. For example well equipped 4X4 trucks were getting stuck breaking new trail but the Rhino made trail more easily as it doesn't sink right down to ice or hang up as quick. I would say on flat ground it does slightly better than a truck to give a reference.

I don't have a quad but from what I have experienced when out with other quads it is as good and likely a bit better than a quad.

Default Why fight it?

My thoughts. Bring out the sled. It's hard on the drivetrains fighting the snow for another week or so, and then you'll need a sled anyhow. Sleds are warmer, faster and smoother.

Tire chains kick ace weather they are on a snowblower or a semi!

Yup , nothing like a side by side to wreak a already established sled trail. I have my local cougar hunter to thank for that!!!!
