Missed the hot weather Saturday and headed out East on Sunday. Managed to stop and catch some small brookies and RMHs on the dry fly, which was a blast. Then the cold front arrived...
Some 20 minutes later the ground was covered in hail that stayed for the day like snow...sigh....
Not a rise to be seen any more, none, nada.
So I did the next best thing, I nymphed for cutties....blah...feel so dirty
Did quite well with several big cutties landed.
Underwater shot of one of the cutts

The only bad part is shortly after the front rolled through, so did the smoke. I did not think much about it but after hiking around and then today, I'm coughing and feel like crap. It was fine before that. Next time when I smell smoke that bad, I'll be smarter about it and head out.
