I'm thinking of picking up a Handi Rifle in the same caliber and scoping it.
Anyone ever own one?
Thoughts?
What's the weight, pounding, etc like from them?
Accuracy?

I had one in 45-70, I pushed it past Marlin loads, accurate and it lets you know you're shooting a big bore rifle.
My NEF 45-70 had a 3x9 Nikko Sterling scope on it, I tried to shoot loads that would test out how tough that scope was. It never did fail even after lots of heavy loads.
I prefer the NEF, Handi Rifles that shoot rimmed cases, I have had 308's and 243's where the case failed to extract due to "warmer" loads.
My favorites are 30-30, 45-70 in the NEF, Handi platform.
