If you are looking for the polymer ones I got mine here and fast shipping too from Ontario. There are a few different brands on Ebay.

The bolt will make contact with the factory steel cross pin with some hotter .22 rounds, makes a metal to metal "clack" noise, the polymer replacement stops that by softening the blow back contact force.
Functionally, the cross pin keeps the bolt from sliding off the end the receiver rails causing it to bind or lock up.
Three Tuffer Buffers will last a life time,I've had the same one in my 10/22 for 10 years with no visible sign of wear,it see's a lot of use in the Gopher patch every year.

Yep, I bought the three pack and still on the first one as well, many thousands of rounds later. They work fine, and your gun will be a bit quieter as well.

Sylvestre's sports in Bonnyville carries them as well as all the other volquartsen upgrades for the 10-22.

Apparently easy to make your own, on my to do list. Just replace the steel pin with a 1/4 " nylon bolt, cut to length, making sure it has enough unthreaded portion. Canadian tire sells nylon bolts.

Anyone else notice the excess oil on the outside of the receiver in the Video?Makes a person wonder how much is inside the receiver and trigger group to have that much leach out. lol

I made mine. 1/8th titanium pin from pm hobby shop. Its a front A-arm support. Then i got 6” 1/4 fuel line. Cut pin to length, cut fuel line to length. Insert pin into fuel line, voila buffer. Cost 8 bucks done in 15 minutes.

I got mine from Dlask Arms as well, although I got the Kidd version because I ordered Kidd's auto bolt release and was very pleased with it. The Kidd bolt buffer is more expensive than Dlask's at $12.99, but they do make quality aftermarket .22LR products.

Better check exchange and shipping costs. 9.00 thimble sized fuel filter turned into almost 40. Can. before I was done. Unavailable part elsewhere, so I had no choice.

PM me your shipping address and I will send you one. Pretty sure I have a spare blue one kicking around from Dlask.

Well to follow up on this buffer thing, talked to my oler brother, he had not heard of this issue, so now he is going to get them for his three Rugers and replace the steel pin, he is wondering why Ruger has not made it a change in production or even maybe a notice of it.

I think ruger doesn't do it because steel pins are cheap and don't risk the chance of breaking like polymer. I've broken polymer buffers from high volume shooting and bent a volquartsen buffer. So far the kidd buffer has helpd up best. Just my experience.
