Good call on the time-out by Tipp when he did. Not Rinne's night. Yamamoto's feed to Draisaitl for his second was pretty good. I actually thought that Yamo shot it and gave Drai a rebound but it was a pass. I also liked McDavid's goal to go half-circle and float a wrister through traffic. That's at least a couple this year like that.

That is actually an interesting stat. He is only the 3rd player in NHL history to score 2 or more goals in five straight regular-season games against one team. The guy is a legit stud!!
The other two are Punch Broadbent (1922 against Montreal) and Mario Lemieux (1987-88 against Quebec).
Anyone listening to TSN 1260 this morning? They had Greg Washinski on about the Heart and that he thinks McKinnon should win the Heart because he doesn't have McDavid. What a dips***!! That mindset, Drai and McD will never win the Heart as long as they are on the same team. Such crap.........

It's his first year and all, but the honey badger is averaging over a PPG. And doesn't shy away from the physical play. Nice pick.
Also interesting is that Nuge is tied for points with the 2 top Flames point getters yet has played 7 less games.

LOL yeah ok. No player should be expected to get 100+ points per season over the average of the career. Even the greatest player to ever play a sport in the entire history of sports on all 7 continents Conor Mcdavid can’t be expect to maintain 100 points per season.

NHL analysts have all said the Flames have not had a great season. It’s not some inner calgary lingo. I don’t see why people in Edmonton have a hard time accepting that.

Yes, been a not so great season, as has been stated many many many times.
Gonna have to get Jason Kenney in this thread so he can see what kind of devastating affects more cuts to the Edmonton education system will do.
